Joint Adjustment/ Manipulation
The most common therapeutic procedure performed by doctors of chiropractic is known as spinal manipulation or an adjustment. The purpose of manipulation, or adjustment of the affected joint helps restore mobility, reduce pain and decrease muscle tightness.
Manual Therapy
Acts as a stand alone treatment for muscular dysfunction, and used in conjunction with spinal manipulations and other treatment modalities. Manual therapy treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. It acts to break up the adhesions associated with scar tissue, and free up the sites of nerve entrapment. Dr. Ramirez utilizes several forms of manual therapy including Trigger Point Massage Therapy, Cupping, and Dry Needling.
Rehabilitation Exercise
Its purpose is to address various musculoskeletal conditions and restore functionality in cases where functionality has been lost or reduced.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy has a therapeutic effect on the body by acting on the muscular, nervous, lymphatic, and circulatory systems to maintain and improve physical function. Manipulating soft tissue helps improve circulation and lymphatic flow, decrease heart rate, promote relaxation and stress relief, and relieve pain.
